Crystal Steel is ISO 9001:2008 Certified. Our quality policy says it all. In business since 1979, we supply the manufacturers of the Northeast with a wide variety of slit steel coil and sheets.

Facility Overview
Crystal Steel is operated from it's own Fifty -Five thousand square foot facility in Middleton, MA. Crystal Steel runs its own fleet of trucks. This fact, combined with our extensive in-house inventory of master coils allows us to process and deliver most orders within 3-5 working days. Of course, we can handle two day deliveries in emergency situations.

Processing Capabilities
Our state of the art equipment allows us to slit material from .008 through .135 inches in thickness with tempers ranging from DDAK through CQ to Full Hard. We are also capable of leveling sheets from coil in thickness from .018 to .155 thick.

Equipment Description
60" Slitter (Chicago) 48" Slitter (Forte) 36" Slitter (Yoder) 24" Slitter (All are equipped with Tension stands and deburring rolls to provide tightly wound coils with minimum burr). Two in-line Herr-Voss levelers (allow us to produce flat, quality sheets which are then packaged to our customers exact specifications). Two Cincinnati Shears (Capable of shearing 12' lengths and 1/4" thick).
