For more than 60 years, Tygart Steel has provided quality steel plate products to industries such as material handling and commercial construction. In 1983, the Tygart Steel plants at McKeesport and Donora, PA were acquired by and became a division of M. Glosser & Sons, Inc. As part of M. Glosser & Sons, Tygart Steel has continued to grow and solidify its position as a major supplier of steel plate products. We strive to supply quality products at the lowest prices possible through efficient production practices and our ability to utilize low cost non-prime material. For some applications, non-prime plate can be used to avoid the added expense of prime steel plate. In addition, our access to both truck and rail shipping ensures the lowest cost to our customers located throughout much of the United States.
