In order to receive Offerings from sellers, buyers need to indicate their interest in receiving Offerings for specific forms and types of steel. There is no charge to buyers to receive Offerings from sellers.

Offerings tend to be large quantities sold as a single lot, special deals, truck, railcar or barge quantities and steel that does not lend itself to the searchable format of the Multi-Supplier Inventory. Sellers sending an inventory list by email to potential buyers can use this feature to also send their inventory list to buyers using Steel Spider.

When a seller prepares an Offering he can elect to send it to buyers using Steel Spider who indicated their interest in receiving Offerings using this page. He can limit the distribution to those buyers within a specific distance from a zip code based on the buyer's registration information. Sellers can send their Offering to those in their Personal Contact List.
