Steel Spider can send Offerings for steel suppliers to many buyers at the same time. If your offering includes multiple steel forms or types, do not sent the offering multiple times.

Only use this form to describe an offering about the availability of specific types and amounts of steel. Either break the offer into multiple offerings each applicable to a specific form and type of steel of select the most applicable form and type and send the offering once. Otherwise you risk sending your offering multiple times to buyers who have identified an interest in multiple forms and types of steel.

Preparation of the Offering involves the following steps:

• Select the Form and Type of Steel.
• Describe your Offering.
• Identify the delivery point.
• Identify the recipients of your Offering.
• Attach a File (Optional).
• Send the Offering.

Select the Form and Type of Steel - When you select the Form and Type of Steel that is the subject of your Offering, we identify which buyers using Steel Spider have indicated an interest in receiving Offerings for the form and type selected.

Describe your Offering - The description of your Offering should contain as much detail about your offering as you can provide. (You can also attach a file to the Offering if that would provide further clarity.) If you are sending an inventory list by email to your customers you can use this feature to also send your inventory list to buyers using Steel Spider.

Identify the delivery point - This helps the buyer determine whether distance is a factor regarding the steel in question.

Identify the recipients of your Offering. - You can send the offering to buyers using Steel Spider who are interested in receiving offerings as well as buyers in your Personal Contact List, or both.

If you want your Offering to go to all the buyers who have indicated an interest in receiving your Offering, check the box next to "Send Offering to Buyers on Steel Spider". You can limit the list to those buyers located within a certain distance from a Zip or Postal Code.

To send your Offering to your Personal Contact List, use the dropdown box to select "All your Contacts" or select the specific group that will receive the Offering.

Attach a File - You can attach Text (.txt), Adobe (.pdf), Excel (.xls or .csv), or Word (.doc) files to your offering to provide further information about your offering. Click on Attach a File. Press the Browse button and select the file on your computer. Press Save to close the window and the filename should appear in the box next to the Browse button. Press Upload the file to send it to Steel Spider so we can attach it to your offering.

Send the Offering - Review the summary of your Offer and if it looks OK, press "Send your Offering". Your Offering will be sent to those you selected. Be patient. If your Offering is being distributed to a large nember of buyers, it may take a while to create the emails and place them in a queue to be distributed within the next hour.
