This Truck Load Board only applies to steel freight in Full Load Flatbed Trucks.
Steel shipping companies post their available loads by describing the steel to be
shipped, its approximate weight, the origin and the destination of the steel, the
date it is available for pickup and the expected delivery date, and any special
conditions or instructions. If the shipper has a cap on the rate that the carrier
can charge, it is helpful to identify this so a carrier does not waste his time
developing quotes that can't be accepted.
The shipper is expected to revisit his posted loads weekly and either confirm that
the load is still seeking a carrier (Refresh) or delete the posting. The logged-in
shipper is will see buttons on his postings that allow him to Refresh or Delete
his postings.
This Load board is set up to encourage direct communication and discussions between
the shipper and possible carriers. Any transactions that result handled off-site
between the shipper and the carrier.
