Our Multi-Supplier Inventory is a searchable inventory that buyers use to Search for Steelavailable for sale by multiple sellers. Move the mouse over the top of the search form to see a menu to search for the other types of steel in the Inventory - Bar, Coil, Sheet, Irregular Blanks, Plate, Rod, Stainless Coil, Stainless Sheet, Pipe and Tube, Structural (Beams and Channel) and Wire.

Select the type of steel you are interested in. Fill in remaining fields to further limit what steel is displayed. Not all fields need to be filled in. If you leave a field blank that parameter is unbounded. For most product types this is sufficient to narrow the search results to a manageable size. Due to the large number of items in the inventory for certain types of steel, the list of steel that meets your criteria may still be extensive. You can use the Additional Search Criteria to further narrow your search. You can restrict your results to steel located a distance from a city and state (or city and province in Canada). Just start typing the name of the city to see a list of possible cities to use. You can also narrow your search by identifying up to three specific words or terms contained in the description of the steel.

After you press the "Find Steel" button, click on the Seller's Company Nameto view whom to contact and additional details about the particular steel item. You can sort on most of the columns in the displayed list of steel.

You do not need to Register or Login in order to search our multi-supplier inventory or contact the supplier. Registration is free and allows you to use additional features on Steel Spider. If you registered with Steel Spider and have logged in, Steel Spider can send a message (Spider Bite) to the supplier for you. The Spider Bite contains all the information about the item of interest and you can add a comment, question or bid to the message. A copy of the Spider Bite will be sent to you for your records.

After you press the "Find Steel" button, at the top of the search results are links that let you take further actions using your search results. If you are logged in, you can create an Inquiry to be sent to multiple sellers describing the steel you are looking for using your search criteria. If you are logged in, you can save you search criteria as an Inventory Alert. If you do, when new steel is added that matches your criteria, we sent you an email describing the steel and linking back to Steel Spider so you can contact the seller. You can also download all the steel that matches your criteria into an Excel file for analysis off-line. If you have already saved your criteria from previous searches as Inventory Alerts, you can display those alerts. By clicking on them your search criteria is automatically filled in on the form. This makes it easy to search using previously saved search criteria.
