Use this form to add steel to be advertised in the listings of steel available for
sale Multi-Supplier Inventory. There is no charge to use this form to advertise
the availability of your steel.
Select the Form of the steel to be advertised first. Then fill in as much information
as you can about your steel. Units for dimensions are inches using decimals. Weights
are in pounds. You don't need to add any punctuation or text. The top portion of
the form contains the fields that must be filled in. The remaining fields are optional.
When you press Save your steel is immediately added to the Multi-Supplier Inventory.
Consider whether your steel should be sent to buyers using
Send an Offering instead of the Multi-Supplier Inventory. Offerings are
postings of steel for sale in large quantities such as railcar or truckload quantities
where all of the items are not identical. Offerings also includes additional forms
of steel such as Billets, Grating, Scrap, Rod and Wire that do not fit the format
in the multi-supplier inventory under Search for Steel. You might also consider
whether to run an Auction so sell your steel.
We require that a seller periodically confirm that their steel being advertised
is still available. When steel is added it is marked for deletion in 30 days. By
going to
Manage Your Steel under Inventory a seller
can push a single button and extend the deletion date to 30 days. We may send a
reminder to a seller to confirm their steel's availability. If no confirmation is
received, we will remove the seller's steel after the deletion date.
