Inventory Change Alert is a free service for Registered buyers that automatically alerts a buyer when steel matching his requirements is first added to the Steel Spider inventory. 

Each hour we send an Inventory Change Alert of newly added steel that matches a buyer's criteria. Our software agent, Boris, checks the site and compares the attributes of your search criteria with those of steel that has been added for sale for the first time.

Describe characteristics of the steel you are looking for in a manner similar to that used to search for steel in Search for Steel. Select the Form of the steel you are interested in. Then select the type of steel. Fill in remaining fields to further define what steel is included in the Inventory Change Alert. Not all fields need to be filled in.

When you receive an Inventory Change Alert by email you can click on the company name for an item of interest and it will bring you to the page on Steel Spider that shows additional information about the item. If the link doesn't work or you receive the Inventory Change Alert by fax, use the Quick Search feature at the top of any page on Steel Spider to find the item you are interested in.
